Jim attended Cornell University, majoring in Nutritional Science and Applied Exercise. He competed in Cross Country and Track & Field (Shot put, Discus, and Sprints) while at Smithtown High School East, and played Rugby while at Cornell, along with a brief stint on the Cheerleading Squad and club gymnastics team. He is also a competitive Bodybuilder and Powerlifter.
Before becoming a part of the Revolution Athletics Team in December of 2012, Jim interned with Florida Atlantic University’s Strength and Conditioning Department, working with all of the 20 Division I Men’s and Women’s sport programs.
Jim joined the Revo team looking for an exciting environment where he can continue to learn while coaching others in proper technique and progressions, helping individuals to achieve their potential. Jim is currently the Head Trainer of the Youth Strength Program at Revolution Athletics.
After competing in an IPA (International Powerlifting Association) meet in March of 2013, Jim placed second overall in his weight class and set a New York State deadlifting record of 575 lbs earning him his Pro card.
